Micro-Mosaic Jewelry

You'll learn how to make this wearable art in this one-day micro mosaic workshop! Class will begin with learning about the glass used in micro mosaics, how to handle and cut the glass, what adhesives to use, and how to set it all in a pendant with precision. I will lead you step by step through making your first pendant. After your first piece of jewelry is completed, you will be free to create either earrings, a ring, another pendant, or a brooch.

A Day of Flower Art

-Make your own Flower Press, which you'll complete by creating a floral cover (with dry flowers embellishments).
-Create a glass encased, hanging, flower art piece
- An introduction to cyanotype "sun"printing! We will take an easy walk on our trails (or even just outside the studio door if you would rather!), where you will collect ferns and leaves to use in your cyanotype.

Create a Stained Glass Mosaic Table

Limited to 6 students
In this two-day class, you'll be making an indoor/outdoor mosaic table! This is a great class if you want to learn how to create mosaics for outdoors, if you want to add color to your world, if you've never done mosaics before, or if you've got previous experience!
Day two is an optional day. If you can not come on Day 2, I will send you home with an at-home grout kit. I will have some pattern ideas for you here, but you are welcome to change them up, or create your own piece entirely!
